Advanced Call Identifier privacy policy

Historical privacy information for the retired Advanced Call Identifier Android app.

Historical policy separated and reformatted 14 October 2026.

Advanced Call Identifier is deprecated and no longer available. This notice separates the information identifiable as applying to ACI in the former shared ACB/ACI policy. The former notice did not fully distinguish every permission’s ACI-specific purpose.

What the app did

Advanced Call Identifier provided area-code lookups and displayed the city, state, or country associated with an incoming phone number using an Android toast notification. A number’s geographic association is not a live location of the caller.

Permissions listed for ACI

The former shared policy identified these permissions as common to Advanced Call Identifier and Advanced Call Blocker:

Collection, sharing, and historical records

The former shared policy did not separately describe ACI’s server-side collection, sharing, or retention. It described phone-number reporting, shared block-list downloads, and trial-device tracking as ACB Pro/Trial features. Those ACB disclosures are preserved in the Advanced Call Blocker policy.

The absence of a separate ACI disclosure is not confirmation that every historical release collected no data. This website does not provide a phone-number lookup or reporting form.
